Shankara Guru’s disciples—Shumban, Shambhan, and Dimbhan—were three brothers who fled their homeland, unable to bear Chittamma’s scolding. Under Guru Shankara’s guidance, they became disciples—and surprisingly, great fools! Yet, their foolish antics always led to tremendous success. Beloved by King Chandra and the people, they still had two formidable enemies: the palace poet Sharmaji and the royal physician Shinkavelan. Despite all schemes against them, the trio never failed and always emerged victorious.
